St Patricks Day Starts the Green Season

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and spring is starting to herald in it’s song. Birds are starting to flock in, and while the hummingbirds aren’t here yet, I have put the feeder out in anticipation.

Daffodils are blooming, the redbuds are starting to peek out from their slumber and the wild plum trees are in full bloom.

Why not start your renewed interest in the green movement on the greenest day of the year? St Patty’s day! You can begin to do a new green ‘thing’ each week culminating with Earth Day, April 22.

If you don’t have a recycling program started in your household, now is the perfect time! What’s your ‘green’ thing?
