We attended the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo today. BOY, were there lots of cars there!
So many that we had to park quite a ways away and walk. And walk we did. Down towards the water, around the water, through the building and back down…. I was sure wishing that I had lost some more weight. What I needed was a magic weight loss pill and I’d have wished for one if there was any water to wash it down with. Well, water that wasn’t $3 a bottle!

The ‘how to’ events weren’t just for little kids either! Young and old alike were lined up to get a chance to shoot, throw and toss.
There were also hands on demonstrations such as basket weaving, wood pulling, birdhouse building and more.
Did I mention that this event was FREE?
This year’s event is now history, so you must put it on your calender NOW for ‘10. Plan on being there!
