Solar panels inside?
We’ve all seen the little gizmos that sit on peoples desks that run on a tiny solar panel. But have you seen the indoor solar panels built by U.S. based Solaroad Technologies? They fit on top of the cubicle partitions and harvest wasted energy from the office lights.
Electronic devices could then be plugged directly into the CubeTube and it’s battery banks make it useful as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with enough on tap when fully charged to run a work station for a few hours.
With the device being inside and out of the weather, it should operate at high efficiency.
Wonder how long before they become a staple at the office?
