Be a good steward of your environment and natural resources. When you’re involved in a remodeling project of any size you must check out your local Habitat for Humanity store.
The store isn’t just odds and ends. You’ll sometimes find pallets of matching tile, perfect for an entryway or sometimes enough for a whole house! There’s new wood flooring of all kinds. There’s sometimes even new fixtures such as toilets and tubs. You’ll sometimes find whole kitchen cabinet sets.
Course there’s also used entry doors, and building accessories, nuts, bolts, nails, as well as a selection of hardware, tools, even shovels and rakes.
You really never know what you’ll find there until you visit. If you’ve any sort of home improvement project in mind, be sure to visit your local Habitat ‘before’ you hit the big box store. You’ll be glad you did.
