Thursday, March 25th, you may attend the sixth in a series of eight planned Public Forums on sustainable water issues for the city of Norman Oklahoma.

This discussion will cover the financial condition of the three Utility Funds (Water, Wastewater and Sanitation).

All of Norman citizens are invited to attend this event at City Hall (201 W Gray) at 6pm. The forum will also be broadcast live on Channel 20.

EcoFest Tulsa

Ever been to Ecofest? You can and it’s free!

March 27th, in Tulsa at the TCC (Tulsa Community College) 3727 E Apache is the place to be to be a part of the green living festival celebrating the College’s eco-friendly initiatives and to helpp promote a new farmer’s market opening in north Tulsa this spring. The event is presented by the CC Horticulture Club and Phi Theta Kappa of the TCC Northeast Campus.

TCC and local organizations will share eco-friendly tips at EcoFest, showing the community easy ways to help the environment and themselves by recycling and planting gardens. Experts in alternative energy, landscaping, fitness and nutrition will give presentations, demonstrations and pass out samples of products.

Throughout the event, organizers will give away door prizes, including container trees.

Also, organizers will formally announce the opening of the North Tulsa Farmers Market which will be held at the TCC Northeast Campus from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Wednesday beginning April 14.

This event is free and open to the public.
