Shoppin’ for a Man

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I was out and about (doing a little online shopping) looking for more Christmas presents when I stumbled across a safety site selling safety supplies. I’ve a male relative just going into the construction field and I thought perhaps safety items might be good gifts. Something he needs but probably won’t buy good quality for himself. You know how young people are. They’ll just get the cheapest items they can and make do. Well construction is not only hard work, it can be dangerous. Safety first!

I have a list of sizes and I’m not afraid to use it! First up, safety boots. I’ve a lot of high quality choices and I choose Wolverine because, well, he’s worth it!

I plan on wrapping these boots up in brown paper and tying the package off with a pair of safety glasses. Kind of as a hint as to what’s inside. How cool is that?

And as long as I’m here, I think I’ll toss in my cart a couple of safety signs, perfect for a teenage boy’s room! What teenage boy wouldn’t love a DANGER sign?

I feel like I’m making great progress crossing things off my Christmas list. Now, what can I get the ladies on my list?

Digital Frame

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

Wondering what to get someone for Christmas?

Do they have a desk?

Get them a digital picture frame!

Fill it with pictures of you and them together. Your favorite photos from over the years. Childhood memories. It’s the perfect gift for just about anyone.

It’s refillable. easy to change out the photos so that you can match them to the person or even the spot the frame is shown. A front foyer frame might show family portraits, while a digital frame in the bath might be full of bathtubs and bubbles from over the years. The possibilities are endless.

The gift of a digital photo frame is extremely thoughtful and shows just how much you really care.
