Pinky

Remember Pinky Tuscadero?

Pinky, played by Roz Kelly, was a love interest for the Fonz on Happy Days.

On one episode, Fonzie was preparing to run in a demolition derby when his partner backs out. Pinky suggests ‘she’ ride along, but she’s refused as no woman has ever been a driver in a derby. The Fonz picks Ralph as his partner, making Pinky ‘pink’ with anger. She flirts with another driver making Fonzie say “Pinky rides with me!”

Pinky refused to wear a helmet, and ends up with a concussion.

Never would have happened if Pinky had one of these new PINK hardhats! Women who work around big rigs, or construction can now buy PINK hardhats!

They are made from the same high density polyethylene as everyday hard hats, they’re just made for a woman.

These safety products are pretty in pink and are sure to make any female big rig worker smile…

TV Stand Safety

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Now that you’ve find the perfect ‘green’ tv for your home, what are you going to set it on?

Do you have room for a wall mount? Hope you measured and checked the integrity of the wall beforehand. Wall mounts need a secure wall with good sturdy reinforcement. You don’t want it coming down.

An alternative is the tv stand. Gone are the days of the metal roll around on wheels. Today’s tv stands come in many styles from simple tables, to consoles, to models that raise the tv to view and lower it out of sight when not in use.

Whatever you choose, make sure that your new flat panel is secure. Better safe than sorry.
