Air Filters

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

I once bought some filters for my central air unit that were cheap. I ordered a case of them. Back then I really wasn’t aware of the differences in air filter quality – that is until the box came in the mail.

Boy was I surprised. They were cheap!

I eventually used them all up and then I ordered one of those fancy washable lifelong filters. Well, they last a long time, but life long? Not here anyway.

I have trouble finding filters that fit my unit, so when I find them I tend to buy several. I have since discovered HEPA filters and boy do they make a difference in the air quality in my home!

HEPA filters can remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles. Now that’s efficient!

HEPA filters will help reduce the allergens and dust in your home allowing your family to breathe a little easier. Next time you’re shopping for whole house air filters, be sure to check out the choices now available in HEPA technology.

It’s the Real Thing

And now Coke is out to save the world, one environmentally friendlier bottle at a time.

Coke’s working on a new bottle, one that’s a little more earth-friendly and one that utilizes less plastic.

The new bottle, PlantBottle, replaces the typical petroleum based bottle with a blend of petroleum based materials and up to thirty percent of plant based materials.

The first Coke product to be introduced in the new bottles will be their Dasani water, with carbonated drinks to follow later in the year.

Look for it soon at a store near you.
